A lonely young woman in New York City gets tangled up in a murder investigation when a severed head is found in her garden. When she becomes involved with the homicide detective on the case, she realizes that the prime suspect may be closer than she likes to think.

This story is based on events which occurred in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Distraught by the sudden, tragic death of his wife, a journalist finds himself mysteriously drawn to a small West Virginia town when his car inexplicably strands him. He soon learns that many of the town's residents have been beset by bizarre events, including sightings of an eerie "moth-like" entity, an entity similiar to the one seen by his late wife.

Vampire heroine Selene continues the saga of war between the aristocratic Death Dealers and the barbaric Lycans. The film traces the beginnings of the ancient feud between the two tribes. Selene and her love Michael, the lycan hybrid, try to unlock the secrets of their bloodlines. The tale of action, intrigue and forbidden love takes them into the battle to end all wars as the immortals must finally face their retribution.
