Description
Suicide Pacts involve two or more persons who agree to commit suicide. The individuals do not necessarily have to be in the presence of one another. Instead the pact may specify attempting to kill oneself alone but at the same time as someone else. I have found through research that its sometimes not easy to reconstruct a suicide pact after the deaths occur. For example, one or more of the parties may have left behind notes that did no include every detail, or perhaps left out someone who was involved. Feelings possessed by persons who commit suicide in a pact are sometimes not apparent. For example two men who kill themselves over the unrequited love of a woman. There are instances when it is very difficult to find whether the female involved had affection for one or both men. Or even if she knew them at all.--Provided by publisher.
