Jacob Little Augie Orgen and Jack Legs Diamond controlled the garment industry racket in New York City for a time. Legs came to Little Augie with his brother, Eddie, who was employed by the East Side gang chieftain before him. Legs worked for the notorious Arnold Rothstein beginning in 1919. He served as the renowned gambler's bodyguard before he left him for employment with Orgen.
