Description
The Balkans - 1918. In a war, anybody can be a killer, but scaring the hell out of the enemy in the process is what Conan's platoon was all about. "We did it with knives, of course." It was knives that won the war, not artillery! There were maybe three thousand of us, no more, on all the different fronts, going at it hand to hand in the trenches. It's these three thousand who really won the war! But when the stinking affair was over, they told us to hide the knives, our bloodstained hands, our previous lives as killers and assassins.
