Description
When a London surgeon develops an aversion to blood, he leaves the city to become the doctor for a rural fishing village ; Dr. Martin Bamford leaves town after he discovers that three acquaintances have slept with his wife; Martin tries to scare away prospective buyers of the out-of-the-way cottage he has his heart set on by pretending to be the Beast of Bodmin.
